How we started
Black Therapy was created by Lauryn Thee Empress from a lifelong journey of navigating damaged, tightly curled hair and the lack of products that truly cared for Black hair. After cutting off the damage as a teen and committing to healthy hair growth, she spent years experimenting, learning, and formulating her own solution.
